ABOUT
Based on Naver's extensive data and accessibility, we have designed a system that combines Vision Pro's spatial computing and various interactions to make travel experiences more vivid and enriching while allowing users to cherish their memorie
Background
There was room for improvement in recommending personalized content to users in the existing service, and it was challenging to provide diverse experiences due to the nature of the web.
Painpoint
Therefore, it was found that users faced limitations when exploring detailed information about tourist courses. Efforts were made to enable users to gain more specific information through diverse experiences and incorporate it into their travel plans.
Service
This project extended the travel experience to before and after the actual trip, allowing users to create their own travel journeys in various ways during the planning and recording stages.
Flow 1 - 서비스 입장
When you open the Naver Travel app, an airplane cuts through the sky as it transitions to the landing page.
Flow 2
The main colors of the service were designated as purple, the primary color of Naver Travel's web platform, and green, the representative color of Naver. The service is broadly divided into two parts: "My Travel Plans" and "My Travel Memories." Inspired by airport checked baggage, users can store and organize their travel journeys in a virtual suitcase.
By tapping on the globe, users can explore popular travel destinations around the world, marked with landmarks. They can select a city to view its basic introduction, reviews, and other information, helping them decide on their next travel destination.
Once a travel destination is selected, famous landmarks in the area are displayed. In addition to the landmarks, information about the surrounding areas is also provided, allowing users to incorporate more details into their travel plans.
Flow 3
The service recommends package deals that include the selected landmarks in their itineraries. Each package's route is displayed on a map below, along with detailed information about the schedule and locations. Users can choose a package that suits their preferences.
In addition to package deals, individual products are also available. Users can proceed with purchases and bookings through personalized recommendations and search. When they spread their hands, a scrapbook opens, revealing a notepad, pen, and stickers. Users can freely make notes or scrapbook, and this information syncs with their mobile device, allowing them to view and edit it during their trip.
Flow 4
On the first landing page, when the user selects the suitcase, they can view their travel records. Opening the suitcase zipper reveals the suitcase opening, with the selected travel destination, photos, and other objects appearing inside.
Inside the suitcase, along with the landmarks of the user's visited destinations, there is a camera to view photos and a player to listen to songs that match the atmosphere or were heard at those places.
When the camera is selected, the photos taken are printed out as Polaroid-style prints.
When the player is selected, the songs the user listened to during their trip are synced with Apple Music to create a playlist.
In the gallery, users can experience immersive photos. For example, as shown in the video, they can see a tram passing by in Paris or Foucault's Pendulum appearing at the Panthéon, vividly recreating the experience of the locations where the photos were taken.
그리고 앞서 계획 단계에서 사용했던 스크랩북을 불러와 폴라로이드 사진을 추가하여 여행 기록을 다양하게 꾸미고 완성할 수 있습니다.
Additionally, users can bring up the scrapbook used during the planning stage and enhance their travel records by adding Polaroid photos, allowing them to customize and complete their memories in various ways.
